Wildlife Management Services
1. On-site assessment of your land for wildlife
management potential and restoration potential. This visit always includes discussion,
education, and advice.
(We prefer the client
be present with our biologist to ensure the plan fits the landowner’s goals)
2. An Oral Wildlife Management
Plan, detailing
recommended management practices that meet your goals. This minimal version
includes applicable aspects of a written plan at a considerable cost savings
to the client but lacking the annotated documentation provided
below.
3. A 5-year Wildlife
Management Plan, detailing recommended management practices that meet your
goals and satisfies your county appraisal district’s requirements completed
within 40 days of the site visit for your review and comment.
4. Two custom-made maps
of your property created over an aerial photo and a USGS topographic map with
boundaries, important features, and wildlife management activities.
5. Research on the requirements of your local
tax appraisal district, research on your property tax information, and filing
of appropriate applications with your Wildlife Management Plan to the county
appraisal district.
6. A bound copy of your
plan, supporting documents, and the filed applications annotated by your
appraisal district.
7. A Resource notebook
including an additional copy of your Plan, maps of property and management areas,
recommendations for record keeping, and various reference materials on wildlife
management.
